I did know John Coughlin. He was a proud to have been a Marine, a Cop, and most of all a Dad. A true mountain of a man, he really was a gentle giant. He was a tireless worker for Toys for Tots and Project Children. At more than one Christmas party he was known to have played Santa to the kids, a part he was perfectly suited for. He was proud of his heritage and all Irish and Irish Americans should be proud of him.
