I remember Donald coming into Dyckman deli for those sandwiches he loved my mom to make. He was like a big brother to me. When someone would make fun of me he would say to leave my sister alone. He was so proud when he was getting married that he brought his bride to be in the deli to meet us. He was also the proudest Irishman I know with a smile on his face always. When Donald joined the Port Authority Police and the ships were in town he would let my sister and I in without waiting in line by saying we were his sister. That will live with me forever. I will miss you Donald but will never forget you.
