Katie didn't work in the WTC. She was attending a meeting on 9/11. She traveled into the city with her husband that morning, who did work in the WTC. When the plane struck the building Katie sent her husband a text message via pager to let him know what happened and to tell him to get out of the building. He was on a lower floor and was able to escape. She again sent him a message letting him know that the smoke was very thick and she did not know if she would be able to get out. She also let him know that she loved him. He watched as the building collapsed.

We all miss you so much! Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to my sister Claire. I have such fond memories...I really looked up to you and Claire when I was younger. I feel blessed to have known you. I can still hear your laugh... Please continue to watch over us. God Bless you and your family always.

Katie had been our rep from Bridge for some time, one sales rep we always enjoyed seeing. Then she got this new job at Telekurs, and they sent her as their rep to the Waters Conference at Windows On The World on 9/11/01.

4 years later, we still miss you.
