There will never be enough words to express the enormity of our family's loss and how phenonmenal Danny was as a husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend. His love knew no bounds, his humor and smile infectious, his dedication limitless, his generosity ceaseless...

Thank you to Mr. Dooley for posting Danny's photo and obituary to this site. Danny would be very happy to be included in this Irish tribute.

My name is Mary O' Callaghan and I am trying to trace as many O' Callaghans as I can to trace my Irish history. My Dad (Daniel (Donie) O' Callagahn died last year 3/12/03 and I want to find as many of his relatives as I can. I was born and raised in Co. Cork in Ireland and I now live in Melbourne Australia. I am very saddened to read that your Lt Daniel died so tragically in a neadless and mind numbing tragety. However I would like to get in touch. I hope you write back to me and then we can take it from there.

It might be of some comfort to Daniels wife and children to know that his ancestoral cousins from Ireland got in touch. I have 7 siblings still living in Ireland with at least 4 times that many nieces and nephews. I hope to hear from you.

Regards

Mary O' Callaghan
