CAUFIELD-Robert J., 49, of Valley Stream, NY, tragically on Septem ber 11, 2001, while working at the World Trade Center Tower I, 95th floor. Loving husband of Valerie J. (nee Kolnberger). Dedicated and loving son of the late John A. and Dorothy L. Caufield. Precious and devoted brother of Patricia H. (Bill) Fennelly, Douglas C. Caufield and the late Dennis P. (Det. NYPD) (Mildred) Caufield all of Massape qua, NY. Irreplaceable uncle and special friend of Sean P. (Lisa) Caufield, Kim E. (John) Rodgers, William (Jean) and the late Ronald P. Fennelly, Michael, Jason, An thony, Robert J. and Stephanie Kolnberger. Dearly loved and spe cial friend of Kathleen Edel, the Breuer family and Richard (Cru sher) Kirchmann. Honored and cherished godfather of Anthony Kolnberger, Valerie Robinson and Paul Gillen. A graduate of Valley Stream Central High Class of 1970, Robert was a very proud, lifelong IBEW Local 3 Electrician, who felt privileged and honored to work at the towering World Trade Center complex. A member of the Valley Stream Fire Department Hook and Ladder No. 2, Robert especially enjoyed spending relaxing and quality time with his family and his many, many friends. Always smil ing and optimistic, Bob particularly enjoyed his Jet Ski and cruising around town in his Corvette. Family and friends will honor Robert's memory by conducting a Remem brance Wake at the Moore Funeral Home, 54 W. Jamaica Ave., Valley Stream, NY, Thursday and Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Memoral Mass of the Resurrection at 9:45AM, Satur day, September 29th, 2001, Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 201 Central Ave., Valley Stream.
